This year's performances were finesse. Well of course it was. It has to be. It's the culmination of 50 years of the celebration of music's finest. And of course it has to be big and banging.(i swear im tryna sound like some CNN reporter or at least a journalist. im tryin okay)

This year's line up of performers includes Alicia Keys(wooohooo), Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, Kanye West, Herbie Hancock, Fergie, Tina Turner, Rihanna and many more.

Alicia Keys kicked start the show with a performance with the late Frank Sinatra or better known as 'Ol Blue Eyes. Well at least a virtual Frank. Truly wonderful. Carrie Underwood then kept the show going with a ferocious delivery of her hit song Before He Cheats. and bla bla bla Rihanna performed... (nobody cares right ?) BUT i have to say this... her hair was freakin cool lahhh... OMG.. haha...

okay i shud stop doin the journalist thingy... So aniway... there were a lot of great performances... like the duet between Tina Turner and Beyonce, Kanye West and Daft Punk playing "Stronger", The Foo Fighters with the My Grammy Moment winner, Lang Lang and Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin and BeBe Winans.

For me the highlights of the show were :

1. Alicia Keys singin No One. i swear i was afraid that she might have pitching problems. BUT SHE WAS FINESSE!!! GO ALICIA!!! ohh yahh and she was joined on stage by John Mayer... KAYPO~!!! i still cant believe his song "Daughters"(yahh never heard of it) can beat AK's "If I Aint Got You" for Song of The Year during the 47th grammys. WTF... wells.... bottom line is... she rocks!!!
   


2. Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli singing Andrea's "The Prayer". OMG.. Josh Groban's voice is heavenly... it's empowering and it soothes my soul... hooohooo... and dun get me started on Andrea... he's the master.
   


3. AMY freakin WINEHOUSE !!!. she wasnt supposed to be in US due to some visa problem. But she eventually received a visa to enter the US and perform but it was too late. So... her performance was beamed live from London. i love english ppl. HAHA. and i swear i was also afraid of her messin up cause she always appears to be stoned on sumtin everytime she performs and messes up her shit. BUT SHE DID NOT~!!. woooohooooo~~ and she was great lahhh. She sang "You know im no good" and "REHAB!!" haha. she rocks my socks which are full of frogs.

And Amy Winehouse only fell one short of the Grammy nods... coz she received 6 nods but only managed to snag 5 of it. She lost Album of The year to Herbie Hancock(some old school guy). Well NOT BAD. AK managed to bag 5 also during her first time at the Grammys. GIRL POWER. haha. Ohhh yahh and i saw Paramore in the sea of audiences. HaHa.. so kental... ohh and guess what khairun said

Khairun : I bet she's the only drunkard who got 6 nods(referring to Amy Winehouse)
Elly : Haha. true but she's a talented drunkard
LOL!!

This year's grammys is way better than last year's. cause Chris Brown didnt perform. HAHAHAH YAY~!!!.

I'm still waiting for EV to perform at the Grammys. TSK.
